Transcending societal pressures, aiming to reconnect humanity with the essence of nature.

These plant figures embody the transformative power of self-love. Each creation embraces the beauty found in life’s imperfections—moments of growth, change, and the simple yet profound essence of being.

Jessica believes that everyone holds boundless energy within, capable of transforming both their own lives and the lives of others. Through this energy, we can bloom into our most authentic selves, embracing the unfolding journey of existence with grace and intention.

Family Portrait

This four-part series explores the intimate connections she shares with her immediate family, with each painting representing a different family member through symbolic plant or floral imagery. These natural elements capture the essence of each person while reflecting the artist’s personal bond with them. A recurring motif throughout the series is the stencil of a dish mat, representing the flower of life geometric pattern. This symbol, drawn from Jessica’s childhood, embodies the full circle of life, growth, and transformation, showing how familiar memories evolve into meaningful artistic expression. The series celebrates the beauty of small moments and the nurturing relationships that shape both the artist’s life and creative journey. Each painting reflects love, strength, and resilience, weaving together themes of connection and personal growth. Through this work, Jessica honors her family’s influence and invites viewers to reflect on the ways in which everyday experiences and relationships blossom into something deeper and more profound.

Head Shots

This series reflects Jessica’s belief in the interconnectedness of creation, where backgrounds and subjects are not separate but evolve in harmony. By painting the canvases together on the floor, she embraced the unpredictability and spontaneity of the process, mirroring how life unfolds organically. The rubbing of canvases symbolizes how experiences and interactions leave imprints on us, shaping our unique textures and patterns. Each flower/plant figure emerges from the background like a portrait of self-discovery, suggesting that beauty and identity arise from the environments we grow within. The flowers’ poses, inspired by the shapes within the background, highlight the interplay between internal growth and external influence, underscoring Jessica’s message: just as flowers respond to light and space, we too bloom when we find our alignment within life’s natural flow.
